Data deletion
How to ask us to delete server-stored data without deleting your whole account. Last updated: 2026-10-01.
How to request deletion
- Email agents@rootrecord.cloud with the subject “Root Record data deletion request.”
- Include the email address on the account, which products the request covers, and what you want deleted: everything we store for that account, or a specific category below.
- We may reply to confirm you control that email before we delete anything.
What we delete
Depending on the request and the features you used, deletion can include:
- Account profile rows used to show plan status.
- Weather Manager data on our servers: saved locations, notification registration tokens, and cached weather bundles.
- Business workspace rows, goals, farms progress, Roots or earn ledger entries, Discord link records, and photo submissions tied to the account, when you ask for those categories or for everything.
- Feedback or support copies that are stored only to operate your account, when you ask for them and we are not required to keep them.
What we may keep
- Billing records. Payment-provider references and billing history needed for accounting, Hawaii tax, fraud prevention, disputes, and other legal duties.
- Security logs. Short-lived server logs used to keep the Services reliable.
- Backups. Deleted data may remain in backups until they rotate, typically within 30 days.
We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days.
Delete the whole account
Where an app or account screen offers permanent deletion, that removes the account and the online data tied to it. Files that never left your device are removed only when you delete them there.
The full description of collection and retention is the Privacy Policy. Use of the Services is covered by the Terms of Service.
